Correct answer
Ten days.
Ten days, under Annex VI section A.2 of the current General Driver Regulations. The minimum between subsequent attempts is fifteen days. These periods run from the date of the failed test and may exceptionally be reduced for recognised, duly justified urgency. This is a regulatory minimum, not a guaranteed appointment exactly when it expires: availability may require a longer wait. The former twelve-day reference is outdated.
