Main beam, as well as position lights, in the stated conditions under Article 100. Dipped beam may be used alongside it. Dip if dazzling is possible; if main beam is unavailable, dipped beam is also required. At 40 km/h or less, Article 101 allows dipped beam when main beam is not used. Avoid dazzling any road user, not just oncoming traffic.
