No. Maximum authorised mass is the authorised maximum for the laden vehicle: it includes the motorcycle, rider, any authorised passengers and load. It is not merely the luggage weight that may be added. Also observe the manufacturer’s limits for racks, cases and other accessories. Using a tank bag or adding only five kilograms does not authorise exceeding maximum authorised mass.
