C1Difficulty 2/5

How far may the divisible load on your lorry overhang, as a general rule?

Correct answer

Nothing.

As a general rule, the load must not overhang the vehicle's ground plan (its outline as seen from above). There are some exceptions to this rule that allow a load to overhang slightly at the sides and at the front and rear on lorries.
