Correct answer
5 years.
A maximum of five years for the driver card. Renew it before expiry to continue using it; a card does not authorise driving with an invalid licence or fitness. In Spain company and control cards have five-year validity, and workshop cards one year. This is card validity, not the retention period for all records.
