Measure from that central axis, not from each edge of the vehicle: it does not authorise adding half a metre beyond each side of its width. On those vehicles, a load also must not protrude at the front and may protrude up to 0.25 m at the rear. Requirements on positioning, securing, stability, visibility and safety must also be met.
