Correct answer
At least 100 metres.
In a tunnel, when not intending to overtake, maintain at least 100 metres or a minimum four-second interval. For vehicles with a MAM exceeding 3,500 kg, the figures are at least 150 metres or six seconds. This question specifies a car in the first group and asks for metres; 200 metres is not that group’s prescribed minimum. Also maintain a safe separation appropriate to conditions.
