BDifficulty 2/5

How should you drive up slopes if the road surface is covered in snow?

Correct answer

Slowly and at a steady speed

Climb slowly and steadily, using smooth acceleration and a gear high enough to limit wheelspin while still maintaining response and control. This does not mean always selecting top gear if the engine strains or cannot climb. Avoid sudden acceleration and abrupt movements. Before entering, check that the section is open and you have the required equipment; do not force the climb if you cannot proceed safely.
