Yes, a motorcycle may have approved front and rear fog lights; fitting them is optional. Annex X provides for one or two white or selective-yellow front lights and one or two red rear lights in their prescribed positions. Optional equipment does not mean unrestricted use: front lights may be used in the permitted visibility conditions, and rear lights only in especially adverse conditions, such as thick fog or very heavy rain. Do not confuse selective yellow with any added yellow light.
