AMDifficulty 3/5

On a one-way urban road, with no signs or layout requiring another position, where should you position yourself to turn right?

Correct answer

As close as possible to the right-hand edge of the carriageway.

As close as possible to the right-hand edge, under article 75. The right-turn rule does not change on a two-way road. Positioning near the separation of directions concerns a left turn on a two-way carriageway, not a right turn. Signal in advance and establish that the turn is safe.
