An approaching continuous line prohibiting travel on its left. Under marking M-5.5 in Annex I, do not start overtaking, or finish promptly and safely if already overtaking. These arrows do not indicate a turn at the next junction or a dangerous bend. Do not confuse them with lane-selection or lane-ending arrows.
