On the right or left side. Article 90.2 of the General Traffic Regulations also permits the left side on one-way urban roads. This does not allow parking anywhere: obey signs, local rules and parking prohibitions without creating danger or obstructing traffic. The question concerns the carriageway, not parking on the pavement.
