Every two years. Motorcycles under the ordinary regime are exempt up to four years and then inspected every two years. Age is counted from the recorded first registration or entry into service. Check the vehicle’s use before applying this table: a driving-school motorcycle over five years old is inspected every six months. Vehicles classified as historic have their own regime. Inspection does not replace maintenance or guarantee that every part works correctly at all times.
