Remove any air that may be present in the circuit.
It allows air in the hydraulic circuit to be expelled during bleeding. Air is compressible and can impair pressure transmission and brake operation. It is not a condensed-water drain for a pneumatic reservoir, a pressure regulator or the point for topping up after fluid loss. Bleeding and fluid replenishment must follow the manufacturer’s instructions; a leak or defective braking requires finding and repairing the cause.
