Reduce speed before entering, braking progressively while the vehicle is still following a straight course. Enter at a suitable speed and avoid abrupt braking in the bend, where tyres also need grip for cornering. This is not an absolute ban on braking in every bend: respond to hazards to avoid them, smoothly where possible.
