Correct answer
To suit alignment, traffic and destination-road limits.
Because alignment, bends, visibility, traffic and destination-road limits may require a lower speed. Exits do not all have tight or wide bends. Article 77 requires preparing in the lane nearest the exit and entering the deceleration lane as soon as possible; slow progressively there when possible and safe. Do not brake abruptly in the main lane merely because an exit is approaching, or ignore a safety need to slow earlier.
