The AEB
AEB, autonomous or automatic emergency braking. It can apply the brakes to avoid a collision or reduce its severity within the system’s operating and detection limits. It does not guarantee stopping in time in every situation or replace driver attention. ISA assists speed compliance and LDW warns of unintended lane departure; they are not equivalent to AEB.
