Correct answer
Using suitable wheel chocks.
Use purpose-designed wheel chocks, not stones. On a significant slope, a vehicle combination must be properly secured against rolling; selecting reverse gear does not replace that precaution. The regulations also allow resting a steered wheel against a suitable kerb with the wheels correctly oriented, but that option is unavailable here. Remove the chocks from the road before setting off again.
