The final price is not just the DGT fee
When people search for the price of a driving license in Spain, they usually mix several different costs together. The official DGT fee is only one part. The real total often includes driving school fees, practical lessons, the medical certificate, and sometimes internal admin charges from the school.
That is why two learners can quote very different prices and both still be right. One may pass with few lessons while another needs more practice or extra exam attempts. The real question is not only the fee itself but the full cost of finishing the process. For the B license, the total typically ranges from €700 to €1,500.

What usually goes into the budget
For licenses managed through the DGT, part of the cost is public and part is private. The public side is the official fee. The private side depends on the school, the city, and how many lessons you actually need before taking the exam.
