Use that right shoulder; if it is not usable and sufficient, use only the indispensable part of the carriageway. Leave the dual carriageway at the first exit under Article 38.2. Use hazard lights where there is a rear-end collision risk and the minimum cannot be reached. This rule does not authorise shoulder use in congestion or replace stopping safely if continuing is dangerous.
