Correct answer
On the right
As a general rule, travel on the right, obeying signs and rules applicable to the vehicle and road. This does not mean always using the rightmost lane on every urban road: article 33 allows motor vehicles and special vehicles to choose the lane best suited to their destination on urban carriageways with two or more marked lanes in their direction, except motorways and dual carriageways and without obstructing others. For special vehicles with a maximum authorised mass not exceeding 3,500 kg, also consider article 36 on shoulder use when no part is specially reserved.
