AMDifficulty 3/5

On a one-way road there is a traffic island and no sign requires passage on a particular side. Where may you pass?

Correct answer

On either side, respecting the other rules.

On either side under article 43.1, respecting lanes, signs and other users’ safety. The rule also covers an island within the part assigned to one direction. Outside those cases, pass on its right in the direction of travel. This does not permit ignoring a sign requiring passage on one side or driving against traffic.
