AMDifficulty 1/5

On a moped with a conventional lead-acid battery designed for electrolyte maintenance, where is its level checked?

Correct answer

In the battery, if it requires maintenance.

In the battery, following manufacturer instructions and level markings. If water needs replenishing after normal use, use distilled or deionised water, without overfilling or adding acid; electrolyte is corrosive. Do not open or refill a sealed battery or one not designed for this maintenance. This check does not concern the oil reservoir or cooling circuit.
