AMDifficulty 1/5

On a vehicle less than 1 metre wide, what is the maximum rear load projection?

Correct answer

0.25 metres.

Up to 0.25 metres, under Article 15.4; none may project forward, and lateral projection is limited to 0.50 metres on either side of the longitudinal axis. Secure the load and do not obscure lights, signals or the registration plate. These vehicles do have specific rules. The V20 panel duty in Article 15.6 refers to paragraphs 2 and 3; this question concerns the limit in paragraph 4.
