Approximately evenly between both sides, following the motorcycle and pannier instructions. Observe their limits and the vehicle’s, secure the load and place heavy items as specified by the manufacturer. A rear case does not necessarily need the same weight as each side pannier. Load can alter stability and braking even when balanced: adapt riding and the specified adjustments.
