Correct answer
petrol and air.
Petrol and air. In a four-stroke petrol engine, the mixture is compressed and combustion starts through spark ignition. Oil provides lubrication; it does not replace the air needed for combustion. Two-stroke petrol engines also need air: many add oil to petrol for lubrication, which does not mean they operate without air. Diesel fuel belongs to a compression-ignition diesel engine.
