The blue square S-7 recommends not exceeding 70 km/h, even under favourable conditions. It is neither R-301 for a permitted maximum nor R-411 for a mandatory minimum. It does not require driving at exactly 70 km/h or authorise exceeding other limits: observe them and slow further when conditions require. If placed below a hazard warning, the recommendation applies to the section where that hazard persists.
