Correct answer
Those carrying up to 16 passengers besides the driver and measuring up to 8 metres long.
Those designed to carry no more than 16 passengers in addition to the driver, with a maximum length of 8 metres. The limit of 17 places including the driver is therefore insufficient on its own: the length limit must also be met. A trailer with maximum authorised mass up to 750 kg may be towed; a heavier trailer requires the corresponding entitlement. D1 does not authorise every rigid bus.
