Correct answer
The pressure gauge.
The pressure gauge measures and indicates oil pressure. A pressure switch can operate a low-pressure warning lamp; it does not provide the same pressure-value indication as a gauge. A thermometer measures temperature. Not every vehicle has a dashboard oil-pressure gauge, and an ordinary low-pressure lamp must not be assumed to warn of excessive pressure as well. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and limits.
