Correct answer
The registration certificate.
The vehicle’s registration licence or certificate, which must state the authorisation. A driving licence or purchase invoice is insufficient. Article 12 normally permits a passenger older than twelve, astride the rear seat with feet on the footrests. It exceptionally permits children older than seven with a parent, guardian or adult authorised by them, subject to the other conditions. Article 118’s protection requirements apply: a properly fastened approved helmet and closed footwear, plus gloves on interurban roads, except for the regulatory exemption involving a self-protection structure and belts recorded in technical documentation.
