The motorcycle must be transported from the ITV inspection centre to its destination by means other than the vehicle itself
By means other than the motorcycle itself, for example a suitable transport vehicle or recovery truck. It may not be ridden away, even to a repair shop; the destination need not necessarily be the nearest shop. After the defects are repaired, it must be presented for reinspection within no more than two months of the first negative inspection. Permanent deregistration is not automatic. Do not confuse this with an unfavourable ITV result, which has different travel rules.
