From age 18, provided the CAP was obtained through ordinary initial qualification. Until age 21, those vehicles may be driven only within Spain. The general minimum age is 21. D1 covers vehicles for no more than 16 passengers besides the driver and up to 8 metres long, without a general short-route restriction; do not confuse its conditions with D-licence exceptions for regular services of up to 50 km.
