Towards the rear wheel: the load it supports increases while the front-wheel load decreases. This does not mean that all the motorcycle’s mass physically moves to the rear wheel or that the front wheel always leaves the ground. Accelerate progressively to maintain control; the amount of load transfer depends on acceleration and the configuration of the motorcycle and rider.
