What it means
The S-26c sign is an approach panel to an exit located 100 m before it. It informs that the exit is now close and helps confirm the manoeuvre, not improvise it at the last moment. It is usually placed before deceleration lanes, divergences, or exits on roads where lane changes need to be organised in advance. When you see it, if that is your exit you should already be correctly positioned or prepare without sudden movements; if it is not, continue in your lane. In the test they often ask the distance indicated and that the panel does not by itself require leaving the road.
