What it means
The S-410 sign informs of motorway and dual carriageway. It is used to guide or identify itineraries related to high-capacity roads, without by itself turning any stretch into a motorway or dual carriageway if it is not placed as the corresponding start sign. It usually appears on direction panels, accesses, links, or indications where the driver needs to recognise the connection with that type of road. When you see it, read destinations and lanes before deciding the manoeuvre. In the test they often ask about its information function and distinguish it from the specific start or end signs for motorway and dual carriageway.
