What it means
The S-112 sign informs of a café. It indicates that an establishment of that type is nearby or accessible from the road, guiding drivers who need rest, light food, or a drink, without changing the traffic rules. It usually appears in service areas, through roads, accesses to towns, or roads with traveller services. When you see it, do not brake unexpectedly or change lanes late; decide in advance whether you will enter and signal the manoeuvre. In the test they often check that you recognise its informative nature and do not confuse it with an obligation to stop, a restaurant, or another different service.
