What it means
The S-11 sign indicates a one-way carriageway. It informs that on that carriageway traffic travels in only one direction, so you should not expect vehicles travelling in the opposite direction within the same carriageway, except in exceptional situations or under specific signing. It usually appears at the beginning of streets, slip roads, or stretches where traffic is organised in a single direction. When you see it, position yourself correctly to continue, turn, or park according to the other signs and markings. In the test they often distinguish it from mandatory direction signs, because this informs about the carriageway layout and does not necessarily order you to turn.
