What it means
The S-430 sign identifies a first-level regional road. It informs of the category and ownership of the itinerary through its number or corresponding panel, helping you orient yourself within the road network, but it does not by itself impose speed, priority, or manoeuvre. It usually appears on route markers, route confirmations, direction panels, or accesses where recognising the road you are travelling on is useful. When you see it, use it as a navigation reference and continue paying attention to the specific signs on the stretch. In the test they usually treat it as a road-identification sign, not as a danger, mandatory, or service sign.
