What it means
The S-115 sign indicates a starting point for walking excursions. It guides toward the place where a pedestrian or hiking route begins, without turning the carriageway into a pedestrian area or authorising parking outside permitted places. It usually appears at accesses to trails, recreational areas, natural parks, viewpoints, or spaces where walking activity is channelled. When you see it, if you are going to follow the indication, slow in advance and look for the signed access or parking safely. In the test it is usually classified as a service or tourist information sign, not as a warning of pedestrians crossing.
