What it means
The S-15b sign indicates advance signing for a no-through carriageway. It warns in advance that one of the indicated carriageways or branches has no continuity for crossing or continuing the itinerary, although it may serve destinations located within it. It usually appears before intersections, neighbourhoods, industrial estates, or accesses where choosing late may force unnecessary manoeuvres. When you see it, read the full diagram and decide whether that carriageway really corresponds to your destination. In the test they often check that you do not confuse it with a no-entry sign or with a closed street exactly where the sign stands.
