What it means
The S-15d sign gives advance notice of a dead-end carriageway. It warns you before the decision point that the indicated direction leads to a road with no through continuity for traffic, although it may allow local access, loading, garages, or services. It is usually found at urban junctions, slip roads, industrial estates, or residential areas where entering by mistake would require manoeuvring to return. When you see it, confirm whether you need to access that stretch or should choose another direction with continuity. In the test they often stress that it does not by itself prohibit entry; it simply informs in advance that the carriageway has no exit.
