What it means
The S-570a sign indicates a kilometre marker on a toll motorway. It identifies the kilometre point of the road and confirms that you are travelling on a toll motorway, serving as a reference for orientation, incidents, assistance, or location. It does not by itself change traffic rules or announce an immediate exit. It is usually placed repeatedly along the motorway, on the edge or median depending on the road. When you see it, use it as a reference if you need to communicate a location. In the test they often distinguish it from exit panels, distance-to-destination signs, and markers for other road classes.
