What it means
The S-121 sign informs of a monument. It guides drivers toward a place of cultural or historical interest, without by itself changing priorities, speeds, or traffic permissions on the road. It usually appears on tourist routes, town entrances, diversions toward historic centres, or areas where drivers may be looking for that destination. When you see it, if you are going to the monument, prepare the change of direction in time and respect the urban or parking signs you find afterwards. In the test they often check that you classify it as tourist information and not as a danger, obligation, or pedestrian-area sign.
