What it means
The S-15a sign gives advance notice of a dead-end carriageway. It warns in advance that the indicated road or path has no through continuity for traffic, so you must decide before entering whether you really need access to that stretch. It is usually placed before junctions, local streets, residential accesses, industrial estates, or roads where entering by mistake would require manoeuvring to return. When you see it, confirm your destination, slow if you will turn, and avoid entering if you were looking for a through route. In the test it is often distinguished from the sign locating a dead-end road and from a no-entry sign.
