What it means
The S-14a sign indicates an overhead pedestrian crossing. It informs that people on foot have an elevated structure to cross the road, separating their route from carriageway traffic. It does not mean that you may ignore other crossings, nearby pedestrians, or signs, or that stopping improperly at its accesses is allowed. It usually appears next to footbridges or accesses where it is useful to guide pedestrians and drivers about the available crossing. When you see it, keep attention on the accesses, reduce distractions, and respect any supplementary regulation. In the test they often distinguish it from an underpass and from a pedestrian crossing located on the carriageway.
