What it means
The S-114 sign informs of a picnic area. It indicates the presence or direction of a space prepared for rest and outdoor eating, as a service or resource for travellers, without by itself changing traffic rules. It does not authorise parking outside permitted areas or stopping dangerously to access it. It usually appears on tourist roads, recreational areas, natural areas, or accesses to rest spaces. When you see it, decide in advance whether you will enter and follow the local signing. In the test they often distinguish it from a rest area, restaurant, or campsite, focusing on the specific service.
