What it means
The S-24 sign indicates the end of the dipped-headlight obligation. It informs that the specific obligation to drive with dipped headlights imposed by previous signing ends, although you must continue using the lighting required by visibility, time of day, or actual conditions. It usually appears when leaving tunnels, underpasses, regulated stretches, or areas where that obligation had been established. When you see it, do not automatically switch off the lights if they are still necessary. In the test they often check that one specific obligation ends, not all rules on vehicle lighting.
