What it means
The S-600 sign confirms towns on an itinerary along a conventional road. It appears after entries, junctions, or relevant points to remind drivers that they continue toward those towns on the indicated route. It does not require a diversion or guarantee specific distances except those the panel itself may show. It is usually found on conventional roads as support for orientation and route continuity. When you see it, verify that you are still on the correct itinerary and remain attentive to later signs for junctions or diversions. In the test they often distinguish it from advance signing: this confirms destinations on the itinerary, not necessarily an immediate exit.
