What it means
The S-200 sign gives advance notice of a roundabout. It informs in advance that you are approaching an intersection organised as a roundabout, so you can choose a lane, reduce speed, and prepare entry according to the priority and signs present. It does not replace the signs you find at the roundabout itself or by itself grant priority. It usually appears before roundabouts on roads, through roads, or accesses where it is useful to anticipate the exit decision. When you see it, observe destinations, markings, and side traffic. In the test they often ask that it is advance signing and not the final order to give way or stop.
