What it means
The S-25 sign indicates a grade-separated U-turn. It informs that there is a route prepared to reverse direction through a link, passage, or slip road separated from the main carriageway, without making the manoeuvre directly on the main road. It usually appears on roads with separated carriageways, links, or roads where the U-turn is organised outside the main flow. When you see it, if you need to change direction, prepare the exit in time, signal, and follow the indicated route; if not, continue in your lane. In the test they often distinguish it from immediate authorisation to make a U-turn on the carriageway.
